An "okay" scent with little longevity and even weaker sillage

I tested the Diesel Green Feminine as an original manufacturer sample in a duo with the "Diesel Green Masculine (Eau de Toilette) | Diesel." These two fragrances don’t really have much in common. The longevity of the women's scent is improvable at 5 to 6 hours, and the sillage is not really strong.

The top note doesn’t really remind me of ginger or lime. It smells brutally like fizzy powder in the flavor of woodruff. The heart note offers a lot of clove with cinnamon. In the background, there are floral hints, where I can most easily identify orange blossoms. The base is already very subtle, but balsamic sandalwood and vanilla notes from amber should be mentioned here.

In my opinion, it is not a special scent, but at least the bottle stands out with the look of a cleaning spray.

A very eye-catching bottle contains a special green women's fragrance.

Insect spray by Diesel as a perfume?
That's the first association when you see the bottle.

It is rather rare, so I now see this scent as a collector's item.

Unfortunately, mine is missing the distinctive cap,
perhaps it was already broken and disposed of.

About the scent:
I can agree with my predecessor.
Initially fruity, then you smell a lot of clove with clove and cinnamon.
Yes, the cinnamon is noticeable in the background.

A floral, green spicy sweet scent awaits the wearer. Relatively synthetic, but interesting and uniquely crafted.
In the middle part, it remains quite rigid, without real development.

Amber and vanilla join the woods (sandalwood, cedar) in the base.
This base is indeed noticeable for me!
Especially, the base is woody. Sandalwood.
It is exactly the sandalwood like in Gucci Rush for Men. Clear and distinctly perceptible.

The Achilles' heel is unfortunately the low sillage and poor to moderate longevity.
After a short time, it is very close to the skin.

A scent for freaky people of younger age or collectors like me.
I am glad to have found it in good condition and to have it in my collection.

Fragrance without a Base

The Eau de Toilette is still available. At least, I bought it two weeks ago from a large online retailer. The price was also very affordable, so you can't really go wrong there.
I was curious because the description sounded promising: The heart note was supposed to feature cinnamon and the base note sandalwood. That's exactly what I wanted! I've been looking for a replacement for my fragrance oil "Grass" from the early 80s for a long time. It also has a slight scent of cinnamon and sandalwood.

Diesel Green Feminine captures this direction quite well. The top note is pleasantly fresh and light thanks to the lime. However, after no more than five minutes, nothing of that remains and the heart note appears. Unfortunately, it doesn't unfold; rather, it's as if you pull away a beautiful tablecloth to reveal a moderately appealing tabletop underneath. The heart note actually consists of just one dominant scent aspect: clove, clove, and more clove. I can still sense the cinnamon, but I'm searching in vain for the other components! No later than two hours in, the entire scent has completely vanished. The clove simply fades away without any base note ever emerging!

What is this supposed to be? At first, I thought they might have forgotten a few ingredients?! A perfume completely without a base note!

What a shame, really! It starts off well. The bottle also has a rather innovative design, even if it doesn't give a high-quality impression (everything is made of plastic and the mechanism of the spray head feels a bit wobbly), but you have to consider the price.

I will probably just use up the perfume this summer. The clove scent fits very well for summer, in the garden outside, in the woods, or in the evening on the terrace (it's supposed to protect against mosquitoes ;-) ) And you can really spray it generously every two hours without worry.

P.S.: I must add: The spray head not only looks cheap, but it is - today the stick under the cap broke. Sigh. Well, at least it can still be sprayed with some effort...
