Morocco on a Summer Evening
I tested "Origin" in 2019 at Bloom in London, along with several other fragrances. Of the three scents I sprayed, I initially liked it the least, due to its sharp, bitter opening. I still don't know whether I think it's great or terrible, but it's certainly very unique and special. However, "Origin" became wonderfully soft, powdery, yet fresh and light within minutes, and after a while, it grew warmer and more oriental - simply irresistible! I bought it and have never regretted it. A wonderfully complex fragrance. Even though I've been wearing it for over a year, I want to sniff my wrist every five minutes. Definitely not for very young women and more suited for evenings and autumn/winter than for spring. However, I wear it carefree at any time of day and year, except when it's very hot. When I close my eyes, the scent transports me to Morocco on a not-too-hot summer evening, to the courtyard of a riad, where the fragrances of exotic plants mingle with those of spices from the kitchen. Somewhere beyond the wall, traditional music seeps in, a bit unfamiliar to European ears at first, almost discordant, yet at the same time promising. One lies on soft cushions, lazily indulging, occasionally taking a slow puff from the shisha, and enjoying the moment.
