What a Surprise

This fragrance is my current companion, as I was slowly getting tired of all the jasmine bombs. I just tested it while waiting for my mother at the shopping mall, and afterwards, I couldn't get it out of my head.
The special thing about this scent is that, in my opinion, it smells even better the next day when sprayed on a sweater or scarf.
At the beginning, it definitely has a bit of a raspberry, girly vibe that you might know from various cosmetic products or shower gels, but once that fades, a wonderfully rosy scent lingers, which I can definitely perceive all day long. It's pleasantly subtle and not overly intrusive - a lovely everyday fragrance that won't annoy anyone. One spritz is enough; otherwise, it tickles the nose. The scent smells nice and fresh and gradually becomes creamy over time. Perfect for the start of spring when you can go for a walk and smell the lilacs and cherry blossoms. I then sniff my arm and look forward to the time when my roses on the balcony open their first buds.

Cheap, but not cheap

Anyone who thinks that inexpensive fragrances smell cheap is very mistaken with this fresh rose scent. Rose dominates and lasts, with a slightly woody finish of sandalwood for about 4-5 hours, surpassing many expensive counterparts by a long shot.

Strawberry, melon... is all that supposed to be in there?

Fortunately, to me it only smells like rose, rather fresh, neither fruity, nor sweet, nor sticky. A bit synthetic, it reminds me of my hobby lab rose scent, something artificially recreated in a lab - quite well done, but slightly piercing in the nose, and it doesn't come close to the full nectar-like sweetness of real rose oil. If you like it fresh, almost green, then this one is for you.

Today at DM, I took a little sniff through the fragrance selection. Drugstore scents don’t always have to be bad; a good example of this is the fragrances from La Rive.

Joyful Rose comes in a small bottle with a transparent pink gradient. At the start, I perceive grapefruit notes and a light floral aroma, then the rose quickly makes its appearance. A very zesty and fresh rose, not as sweet as I initially thought. The scent has a lot of endurance and power for the price; unfortunately, it becomes too prickly on my skin after a while. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a candidate for purchase for me. However, rose fans should take a closer look at this fragrance as an affordable option.

You never know what surprises life will bring!

I believe that this year many surprises await me regarding the topic of perfume! A year ago, I would have NEVER thought for even a second that rose scents could be for me!... Sure, there were some rose fragrances that I found nice and good, BUT I never really had that THIS IS EXACTLY MY ROSE SCENT feeling... Until my mother gave me a bottle of Turkish rose water last week. Every time I cleansed my face with the rose water, I noticed how good it felt! My skin felt so good and soft but also so beautifully calm and relaxed! What I liked the most was this cozy, beautiful, fresh, pleasant scent of roses.*.* It was so lovely for me every time I smelled this scent of fresh roses!:))) It triggered a very pleasant and inner calm in me... I could rave about it forever!:D Since I was so convinced that I absolutely needed a beautiful rose scent that I could wear on my skin and clothes, I ordered this fragrance here and was not disappointed!:)

Why I specifically ordered this one, I don't know exactly, but it might also be because it was so beautifully inexpensive and I am currently not looking for an expensive rose scent... Inexpensive fragrances can be good too! Sometimes even better than expensive ones:D (I made this experience thanks to my mother, as she doesn't believe that good fragrances have to be expensive:D Ps: Thanks, Mom:D❤)
Well, be that as it may... As I already mentioned, I was not disappointed:D!

I'll start with the scent description;DD

First of all, I must say it is a sweet rose scent! You have to like light sweet fragrances!
Upon spraying, the rose note was IMMEDIATELY present! I could also clearly smell strawberry:))) Unfortunately, the strawberry note faded very quickly; then I could smell fresh raspberry notes, but a slight melon note was also clearly noticeable:))) But the rose was extremely strong throughout the entire scent development, meaning sometimes the rose note was fresh and sometimes sweet!
I was also surprised how long this scent lasted on my sweater! Throughout the whole day, this scent was strongly present despite two sprays, but also strongly noticeable by those around me!
Everyone found the scent beautiful and pleasant but also very feminine:)))))

I believe I have discovered my rose scent for myself!:DD And I am proud of how beautiful and good it smells on my skin!:))) I love wearing it when I know I will have a stressful day ahead or when I can't sleep:)
