Nuit-Appropriate for the Fresh Fanatics
With heavy gourmands being de rigueur, I can see how people would find this fragrance underwhelming. For those who live to wear freshies, this is just heavy enough for us to wear at night.

There is a vanilla-sweetness, but I don't get any peach. Non-descript white flowers and violet fill out the heart. It's a little powdery, but only lightly so. The sandalwood is gentle.

Unfortunately, there's something about the composition that turns sour on my skin. Perhaps it's the peach. I've yet to find a peach fragrance that worked for me. I left it on to give the dry down a chance, but then it made my Kitty gag, poor thing, and I had to scrub and douse myself in something else. Kitty's a snuggler and was right back on me.

Were I able to pull this off, it would definitely be reserved for night activities. It's just not something I'd wear to work or for going about my day. If you regularly wear more intense and heavy fragrances, this will definitely disappoint you. For the person whose collection is mostly freshies, this might be a good option for events that expect more than your regular go-tos.

Nuit? Non!
A truly nice and inoffensive scent that unfortunately is forgotten as soon as the last whiff of sandalwood and violet has disappeared. I am sure that Boss meant this to be sexy and seductive - on my skin it just does not work that way.
To me this scent has no night vibe. I would wear this at the office, in the cinema or at a restaurant. Its sillage and longevity is appropriate for social events and the notes are all fresh and nice.
The bottle feels great in the hand and looks good on the shelf.
I recommend that you get a sample before buying. Maybe you will discover, as I did, that you can easily live without this fragrance and go spend your money on something more interesting.

Not a night fragrance!
I tested this scent a few months ago but I exactly remember my disappointment. I was expecting a longlasting and deep scent, a true night fragrance with a strong character, but what I smelled it's only a pale memory of some (synthetic?)flowery notes. I didn't smell the aldheides and the scent evaporated immediately on the mouillette and on my skin too.The black bottle too seems too minimal .
People, you'll be free to pay only for the advertising and the brand... I'll never throw away a lot of money for a non-scent like this.

Hitting multiple flies with one swat or "everything has been done before..."
One must give credit to the "world label" from the quaint Metzingen - it continuously serves us consumers with new fragrances.

Every year, the Swabians launch new ladies' or gentlemen's scents.

This is made easier by the fact that the company can rely on several private labels, thus having plenty of room to maneuver!

Be it the classic "Black Label," the sporty "Boss Orange," the youthful "HUGO," or the elegant and much more expensive Baldessarini line.

Although the latter has so far been reserved for men and is no longer part of the Boss Group. Mr. Werner Baldessarini has bought it (Thank you Rivegauche)!

I compare the Hugo Boss fragrance universe to that of Calvin Klein.

Every segment has been catered to and filled.

Apart from a few classics and "success" fragrances like the first men's scent "Number One," "Spirit," "Boss Bottled," "Boss Femme," "HUGO Dark Blue," or "HUGO Man & Woman," all other offerings have a generic mainstream flair with little character.

So too does the new women's fragrance, which, like many Boss perfumes, carries the classic, well-known floral-vanilla-wood Boss DNA.

Every "new" scent resembles one of its "colleagues" in some way.

This seemingly foolproof recipe for success is paired with the further trend of hiring Hollywood stars as advertising faces.

In "Nuit Pour Femme," Gwyneth Paltrow advertises in a provocative, "little" black suit against a nighttime skyline.

The design of the bottle reflects the elegance and sophistication of this garment.

The clearly defined line, a stylish glass cap, metallic details in gold finish, and a mysterious black - all attributes for an exciting night.

Fragrance-wise, it reveals, as one would expect - "the familiar"!

An airy hairspray note (aldehydes) gives a light start, closely followed by a peach accord soaked in powdered sugar.

I can't help but think of Burberry's "Body." However, this brand association is soon overshadowed, and I am pulled back into the "Boss boot."

The powdery aroma lightens up and releases a clear floral bouquet.

Violets and white flowers inevitably remind one of "Boss Femme."

Somehow boring and lackluster when you copy yourself!

The finish offers the conventional vanilla-wood flair. It somehow reminds me of Boss Orange Woman or Hugo Deep Red.

The longevity of the fragrance is in the absolutely acceptable average. 7 hours are easily achievable - if, however, 5 of those hours are taken up by the base accord.

In summary, a pleasant but absolutely unnecessary perfume.

Conclusion: Everything has been done before and keeps coming back - just like fashion! ;-)

How is this supposed to be Nuit? It's a gentle, close to skin scent. Not bad but short lasting and forgetable.

Fresh, floral, and mature, later slightly bitter. In my opinion, it's highly underrated. The campaign totally misses the scent, but that's not his fault!

Puzzled: smells very appealing, suitable for everyday use, but fades after an hour. Maybe I should try layering it with "Ma Vie"?

I don't understand why it's rated so poorly here. For me, it's a beautiful and elegant evening scent. H+S are also very good.

I've had this for a long time! It smells special and is really nice for an evening out at a restaurant. Elegant and never crude!

Discovered it at a friend's place and was instantly enchanted - rich and soapy floral, honey-sweet woody, bright and cheerful, nothing like nuit.

Nice, unobtrusive scent, definitely office-friendly for daytime, but unfortunately I don't find it special. Very average and unremarkable..

Gives off hairdresser vibes, which I totally love. Pleasantly sweet, even a bit fruity-fresh. Longevity isn't the best. Okay for everyday use.

Seems like it’s not well received here ... Anyway, I’ve always loved wearing it. The bottle ran out quickly. Fresh, elegant, floral.
