Suspicion of reformulation

I adore the scent of the ambery spiciness, but conversely to what most people say here, performance is inexistant. 150€ for a 50ml is so expensive and waste of money for absolutely no projection and little longevity (whether it’s applied on skin or clothes). I blindly acquiered this on 26/03/2025 from nocibe after reading many feedbacks. Never owned this fragrance before, so it might ve been secretely reformulated since.

Ich habe diesen Duft in einem Probeset erhalten. Überraschenderweise ist er angenehmer und anhaltender Duft. Von den ersten Sekunden trifft er die Note von Trauben, und dann sitzt er harmonisch in der allgemeinen Zusammensetzung.
Der Duft ist nicht schlecht, vor allem für Liebhaber von süßen und fruchtigen Düften. Am Anfang roch ich Kirsche, die sich schnell verflüchtigte, und dann begann, sich rosa Pfeffer und einige Blumen zu öffnen.
Mir gefiel, dass er in seiner Süße nicht erdrückend war. Ich werde ihn wahrscheinlich kaufen. Der Preis ist angemessen und die Haltbarkeit ist anständig.

Vanille Tee am Kaminfeuer

Wow! Da hat BOSS ja mal wieder richtig einen rausgehauen. Meine erste Assoziation ist ein gemütlicher Winterabend auf einer Skihütte kurz vor Weihnachten. Der Duft vermittelt einem ein wunderbares warmes Wohlfühl-gefühl. Zuerst ist er sehr schwer, aber mit der Zeit bleibt die holzige Wärme mit dem wunderbaren Bernstein/Amber Ton sowie ein klein wenig vanilliger Süße um das Ganze auch schön feminin zu gestalten. Alles in allem: Ich super happy diesen Duft in meiner Sammlung zu haben.

Ruby or Hand Grenade?

My husband and I had our wedding anniversary, which we don’t always celebrate, but at least we toast to it. However, not this year, because this year we have a baby. And after the umpteenth developmental leap, growth spurt, teething, and other baby features, a nasty fever hit, laying the entire family low. Rien ne vas plus.
Instead of a lovely day spent in the golden autumn sun, my child and I just lay in bed while my husband desperately tried to lift the mood.
And he did a damn good job.
At dinner, a small package sat next to my plate, and I had a feeling..
The ruby sparkled as it rushed into my hand, and I had to spray it into the air immediately, even though my nose might not have been at 100%.
But it was there right away: the warmth, the vanilla amber, the bittersweet, slightly herbal-pungent scent of the deadly nightshade that grows around every corner for us and which I have always found fascinating (and which has nothing botanically or olfactorily to do with sweet/sour cherries. That’s why the comparisons here are questionable).
A wonderfully rounded fragrance that immediately enveloped me in an autumn warmth. This scent can only be worn in autumn or in the depths of winter, as it has power.
I could almost feel the blood rushing back into my extremities. My nose became a bit clearer, my mood lifted, and I was ready to get healthy again.
This very unusual bitter yet feminine scent accompanied me all day without even the slightest hint of weakness.
Maybe the bottle looks like a ruby, but what’s inside is definitely a hand grenade.

I don't really know how to describe this.

So the scent itself is actually nice. You definitely need to have a fondness for spicy fragrances; otherwise, you're completely in the wrong place here.

We received the samples of The Scent at home, and my wife thought to herself: Oh yes, I like this. The next day, she wore it to work to see if it could be something long-term. When she came home, the first thing she did was throw her sweater into the laundry basket and hurriedly wash herself everywhere. I don't know why, but the scent on her developed a urine-like odor after a few hours, which was absolutely unbearable. On my skin, the scent didn't develop as badly. It left more of that strong spiciness in the drydown, but I still need to say something about the longevity.

I applied the fragrance in the afternoon. It was two sprays from a 1.2ml tester. So really not a large amount that was applied.

I took a shower that evening, then went to sleep. The next day, I got up, washed my arm again, and then at some point around noon, I had to use a brush and soap because the scent wouldn't come off my skin. When my wife came home from work, she could still perceive the scent on me. I also noticed it with almost every movement and while typing at the keyboard in my home office. This has hardly ever happened to me with any perfume before.

Really crazy stuff.
