My Younger Self Walking Through Karstadt

Do you know that feeling when you put on a fragrance and suddenly feel 20 years younger... that's exactly what happened to me with "Emporio Armani Remix for Her | Giorgio Armani," a blend of #Emporia she and #Cavali just love for her. At first, I perceive a woody honey note, even though honey is not listed... I suspect that sandalwood and anise are playing tricks on my nose, or could it be the musk pear... I confess, the first minute is a bit too sweet for me... but that might be due to the current record temperature of 30 degrees... After 5 minutes, the fragrance is just as it should be for me... powdery heliotrope with a hint of almond aroma. For many, it’s surely a laaaangweilig mainstream. For me, it's a typical Armani go-to that a woman can't go wrong with. A base note star, not a soapy powdery lady. Ideal for fans of creamy, powdery scents that feel like a soft veil. Spring fragrance.

A REMIX of Armani Emporio SHE

~ Inspiration ~
"Armani She" has always been a bit too spicy for me. In a swap, I received a small sample of "Remix She" to test.

~ Bottle ~
The elongated shape has been retained, but it has been replaced with a silver-purple color scheme. The word REMIX is presented in a modern, angular font.

~ Scent ~
Upon spraying, it is initially quite sour due to the cranberries and pears. A hint of star anise gives it a special touch. The more robust freesias and cloves, along with magnolias, heliotrope, and peonies, are decisive for a spicy-floral ensemble. Sandalwood and cedar, as well as a bit of musk, provide a gentle finish.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours (on clothing and hair, perhaps a bit longer). 2 sprays are sufficient, as otherwise it becomes too scratchy in my throat and synthetic.

~ Occasion ~
This fragrance can actually be worn at any time (especially during the day). It smells light and fresh and is not too sweet. I categorize it for spring and autumn. I also find it suitable for uni-sex.

~ Conclusion ~
I like it better than the golden predecessor variant, but unfortunately, it couldn't completely convince me, as I still find it a bit too bitter and somehow reminiscent of (men's) shower gel.

An extraordinary fragrance

After I was not so impressed by Giorgio Armani at first, I gave him another chance. Here I was pleasantly surprised once again (as often happens in life ;-) This shows me once more that one should not form prejudices too quickly. ;-)
What I encountered, I will describe in a few words:
a warm-cuddly-comfortable base feeling with a few shy flowers in the background. These complement and round off unobtrusively. A slightly spicy and subtle hint of sandalwood with cedar forms the base, but does not impose an extremely woody character.
Overall, I believe Emporio Armani Remix She is a perfume for the cooler time from early autumn to the beginning of spring. It radiates a warm-clean character overall (here's a nice neologism).
I must say it is an unusual and very pleasant composition.
The longevity is quite good.
So it is really worth testing this extraordinary scent! :-)
