Citrus Blast with a Splash of Aqua Mandarin!
"Midnight Gold" has, in my opinion, an unfortunate title...
To me, it doesn't smell like "Midnight" at all, but rather like "Day," summer, sun & beach - definitely very fresh, pleasant & uplifting!
"Gold" also suggests evening sun or sunset to me, and that doesn't really fit either. The bottle/juice does look like a darker gold and could lead one to think it's something heavier & sweeter - but far from it, for me it's more "bright Yellow"!
Lemon, lime, and a splash of mandarin are enveloped by a delicate aquatic veil. Minimal floral notes join in (absolutely fresh!) along with a subtle woody base!
As the scent develops, the citrus blast opening eventually fades, leaving a fresh-creamy touch with a slight shower gel vibe, which I personally enjoy.
Pleasant DNA, in familiar Mancera quality - nothing super special, but as an everyday freshie, definitely better than many comparable designer fragrances!
