Hulk's Esoteric Great-Aunt
"Tea Time" is pure green tea - but applied in a very thin and almost homeopathic way. A scent made for statements. But I remain true to my line - once reviews, always reviews ;-)

Anyone who knows green tea (and who doesn't?) will immediately recognize it in "Tea Time." Very delicate, quite green in several facets, very calming and warm. Without becoming really creamy or denser. Transparent and easy to wear. Hardly noticeable, to be honest. Simple, pleasant, and more wellness than a cup, more oasis than steam bath, more Far East than Europe. Nice, theme achieved. Hermes for the slim wallet. Good for after the shower, whether hot or cold. But nothing more.

Bottle/Sillage/Duration: room for improvement/simple/3 hours

Conclusion: a very natural, unremarkable, and transparent green tea. Not worth much excitement or words. Good.

Floral, Green Tea
And once again, a tea scent. Hardly has a perfume brand learned that I am into tea fragrances, and I am already being inundated with them… but to be honest, I actually find that great, as it allows me to test and check off so many to see what I particularly like about tea scents. Therefore, I am not complaining, on the contrary, I can't get enough of them.

And with the brand name Rituals, I automatically think of Japanese tea rituals, although I believe the correct term is more of a ceremony. Where one meets in a modest wooden hut and tests various types of tea, sometimes in silence, sometimes discussing the tea and the tea utensils. While there are many countries where tea is enjoyed, for the Japanese, it has become a kind of perfection that one simply has to see, even if some things might seem strange, perhaps even funny, to us.

But anyway, before I ramble on further, I’d better get to the scent.

The scent:
It smells like green tea! What does the fragrance pyramid say? Ah yes, it only states Green Tea.
That's it :D
However, the scent has some light notes in the background. I have the feeling that it smells slightly of roses in the background, and the fragrance comes across quite bitter and green, and seems to have other light floral notes that I cannot identify further. The scent of green tea is very authentic, which I find super.
However, there is no development of the scent, and thus no classification into top, heart, and base notes, so the fragrance smells like bitter green tea from start to finish, to put it briefly.

The sillage and longevity:
In terms of projection, it is like with most of these scents, initially somewhat noticeable, but after a few minutes, it becomes below average. A pity, as the scent is only there for personal enjoyment and will be hard to smell on oneself.
The longevity is at best average, as it lasts about five to six hours on the skin.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and tall with a thicker glass bottom. On the front, there is a small square label with the name or logo of Rituals. The cap is chrome-plated and also cylindrical. The name of the fragrance is printed on the bottle, and there is also a floral pattern visible. The fragrance liquid is light green.
With the small label, the bottle actually reminds me of some bottles from Jo Malone, such as the Rare Teas. A simple, but nicely made bottle.

Well, what can I say? Essentially, you are smelling a pure, naturally scented green tea fragrance with light, floral-bitter undertones. The scent hardly differs from other (well-made) green fragrances, so you have to decide for yourself which one you prefer.

I like it anyway, even though I prefer black tea. It is a scent that can be used anytime, especially when you want to relax,… and probably while drinking a cup of tea as well.

I certainly enjoy relaxing when I sit in front of the PC and drink tea, although my cat often jumps on my table during that time… so much for relaxation… I have fished out quite a few cat hairs from my cup,… and yes, I have toughened up by now and no longer have to dump the contents of the cup JUST because a hair from the beast was in it… or maybe I have just become lazy, I don’t know… but it is still disgusting :D

Anyway, Tea Time by Rituals is a lovely green tea scent that one should take a look at.

The absolute most beautiful green tea accord I've ever smelled. Light, transparent, graceful, natural, smooth, simple.
