ZEN GOLD ELIXIR
This fragrance is inspired by a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation called Yakisugi.
In this method, the surface of the wood is charred to protect the underlying layers.
And I can actually smell charred wood, which, in combination with rose and jasmine, creates a successful composition. Frankincense, one of my favorite notes, is subtle or almost non-existent in my opinion. H+S are moderate, very much in line with the Japanese philosophy of transience.
It is an autumn-winter scent that can be worn well by both a woman and a man.
