Delicious cherry liquor scent
Wow am I the 1st review in here? Yes this perfume not popular because its new and didnt marketing much. But I enjoy it so much. Cherry liquor lovers need try this. Cherry is way too much better in here than original la petite robe noire. Its delicious smell for me. Tea leaves gives it fresh, calm effect. My boyfriend liked too, he is barman and he likes boozy scents. Spring/summer light but not too light great girly young smell. Not the type of Victoria's Secret Bombshell. Reminds me my Escada Cherry in the air (Limited edition) which one I use in highschool.

Very helpful Review 13
I'm becoming a hippie, but a chic one ;-)
This morning, my order from France finally arrived. As I unpacked, the cold bottle fogged up... oh, it's just too beautiful to look at, and then the first spray... whoa, cold :-) and so refreshing! Juicy-sour cherries, a freshness of roses, delicious and a bit cheeky. Nothing feels sharp or sticky, but rather beautifully light. In the heart, the scent remains wonderfully floral-fruity for a long time before it dives into a smoky, slightly fruity base. Wonderful, like the finest tea with the best cherry aroma. And it doesn't stop there; after many more hours, the base changes again! I've rarely experienced that. Now the scent has a light and fruity woodiness with a subtle, transparent, lovely note. I can't describe it any other way at the moment. Simply beautiful! Sometimes I catch a whiff of the finest lavender, it's incredible what skin chemistry can create :-)

Bottle: as always, enchanting!
Longevity: very good
Sillage: a fine scent veil, just how fragrances should surround you!
Fragrance DNA: clearly LPRN, but in the end, it develops its own aura

Anyone looking for a fresh, fruity-floral scent with style and that certain something will definitely not go wrong with Hippie-Chic.

I'm already regretting only ordering the 30ml bottle. Hopefully, it will be available in Germany soon.

Vacation in the Maldives with Dad's Credit Card Feeling ;)
Hard to believe, but it has actually been 11 months since I wrote my last review here on Parfumo! Back then, I was still in California studying for my master's degree and quite busy. In the meantime, I am back in Germany and have successfully completed my master's this month, so I now have a bit more time before I start working. Therefore, I am even more pleased to dedicate this comment to a wonderful fragrance from the house of Guerlain, which I share with a dear friend. Every time I wear it, I think of her :-) She has also been wanting a text from me about this for a while, and I would like to fulfill her request now.

With the La Petite Robe Noire line, it seems that Guerlain, which was founded in Paris in 1828 by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain, wants to appeal to the younger generation, who may have less access to fragrances like L'Heure Bleue or Jicky, or perhaps don't even know them. Except for the La Petite Robe Noire Ma Robe Pétales, the La Petite Robe Noires are all cherry or berry-based and quite sweet. From my perspective, however, notes like smoky black tea, almond, or even leather give these fragrances a special twist that sets them apart from the "sweet and berry" category, which is really not lacking in perfumes.

The La Petite Robe Noire Hippie-Chic is initially quite similar to the original La Petite Robe Noire. However, it feels a bit lighter, softer, sweeter, and also more powdery. The licorice note of the original is missing, which I really like. Right after spraying it, I am greeted by a juicy fresh black cherry, underlined by a fine and gentle rose scent, as if dusted with powdered sugar. As it develops, the fragrance becomes softer and more powdery, the tonka bean becomes more prominent, and the sweetness recedes. This gives the fragrance a gourmand character that is fortunately not marked by a sticky sweetness but is finely balanced. I cannot detect the black tea here. The longevity is very good, lasting 2 days on the skin.

In terms of effect, I find the Hippie-Chic feminine, playful, and very chic in expression. For some reason, I am reminded of a young lady from a wealthy family who has grown up sheltered. Of course, she has 500 euros pocket money a month in 10th grade, a Tiffany bracelet, and a Louis Vuitton bag on her lap. Good for her, if she didn't say slightly ignorant things in social studies class, topic "Social Inequality in Germany," like: "Anyone without a job is just too lazy to work." and "400 euros a month is enough to live on." (referring to Hartz IV). Meanwhile, the same person tells the story of how she blew 1000 euros in one night on vacation in the Maldives with her dad's stolen credit card. The amount was later refunded by the bank, as the person was demonstrably not in the Maldives at that time.

But all jokes aside, I find the Hippie-Chic very beautiful and am glad to have had it in my collection for about a year now. I wouldn't want to miss it there. I think it's great for evenings and special occasions. However, I would find it a bit out of place and also too precious to wear "just like that" during the day. Then I prefer to reach for fresher and lighter fragrances.

If some readers have gotten the impression that wearing this fragrance might make someone seem ignorant, I want to alleviate that concern. Not at all. And of course, I haven't eaten wisdom with a spoon. I am just a Düsseldorf vernissage-goer who thinks everything is art that she doesn't understand ;) To quote a well-known cabaret artist who has unfortunately been retired for several years: "Cabaret is a kind of modern indulgence trade. The bad left conscience jumps out of the fire when the money rings in the small arts cash register." I like this humor.

But back to the main topic: Vive La Petite Robe Noire Hippie-Chic!

Flashback
I believe this fragrance deserves more than just my brief statement.
I wasn't familiar with "La Petite Robe Noire Ma Robe Hippie-Chic | Guerlain," but my favorite perfume friend has once again broadened my horizons.

Well, I sprayed it on and suddenly I was back in school in the 2000s. More on that in a moment.

The scent starts intensely with this cherry note reminiscent of lollipops. Black tea also immediately comes through in the top notes for me. A bit of rose joins in, along with the tonka bean, but very subtly.
I can smell the black tea and cherry lollipops all the way through.

But this perfume reminds me so much of Pussy Deluxe or "Cherry Cat | Pussy Deluxe," no, Mini Sexy! It gives me real teenage feelings.

Fruity floral scent, I think it's more meant for girls. Although I can definitely imagine wearing it on vacation at the beach (it will surely accompany me). It definitely brings good vibes and is quite pleasant to smell.

Cherry Lollipop with Black Tea
Do you remember those wine gummy cherries and cherry lollipops? That's exactly the type of cherry we have here. No lost cherry, no smoking cherry, almost an innocent cherry that battles against the rose but ultimately wins. I personally really like that. This almost clean cherry aroma like cherry juice. Enough of the cherry, at some point a bit of black tea aroma mixes in, like that sweetened chai you get for free with every meal at your favorite restaurant. I still don't know what that has to do with hippie chic. For me, it's clearly a beautiful fruity, floral spring scent that becomes slightly powdery in the dry down. Happy to own this rarity.

Not a hippie, the nice girl next door smells subtly fruity, rosy sweet cheeks. Loves to drink tea and is delicious enough to bite.

A hippie lady who, dressed lightly, first picks cherries, then bathes in rose water while enjoying tea. Very pleasant and bright!

Here the sweetness is almost torturous. Cherries, dusted with sugar, candied roses, the almond dessert DNA. (Definitely not for old hippies like me.)

The scent feels a bit lighter than the original, but at the cost of being designed more powdery, which I don't entirely like.

Just a bit lighter and brighter than the regular Eau de Parfum, the tea note is more pronounced. Other than that, it's almost identical to the original scent.

As expected: Beautiful Guerlain cherry with a hint of rose. Over time, it’s more powdery than sweet, simply gorgeous.
Not for the heavy hitters ; )
