Similar to Soie Malaquais

Similar to Dries Van Noten's Soie Malaquais but less cloying imo. The chocolate in this is slightly powdery, creamy and woody and exquisitely blended with the magnolia and tuberose, with a beautiful plum-like fruit accord. The tuberose does not smell like bubblegum, nor is overtly detectible. Overall an exquisite fragrance that I think is full bottle worthy, even if it is one of the more expensive bottles I own in my wardobe.Someone was selling the Private Collection discovery set on Ebay for $26 so I bought one for myself and my mother as well. Jazzy Twist is my favourite and I ended up buying a full bottle on discount on Ebay.

Great experience

I bought a sample of this perfume and it has been lying around for a good three months. Today I tried it, and am delighted to find a new love!
I sprayed it on this morning and it was very fruity. Please know there are no fruit notes listed here, so I’m not sure where my nose is picking it up.
I smell plum, an over ripe fruit bursting with juices. It dried down to a subtle plum, but it’s dark and beautiful. It’s also slightly powdery. The pepper plant and magnolia work wonders together.
So far, the longevity is pleasing. Especially considering I was hesitant to spray more than once without knowing the sillage. So for this one spray, the sillage is close, but I can tell it doesn’t have to be that way.
Highly recommend a whiff if you have a chance.
I would purchase this one.
