Expecting a boom!… hearing a whisper
La Nuit Trésor Musc Diamant is part of an impressive range of flankers for the original La Nuit. Being pretty inventive with the naming of all of these (I count 13 in the directory), this one is named Musc Diamant. I am not sure I understand why - the musk note is present in all three stages but diamant? Well, I suppose some has made a clever choice at some point…?
At the time of writing this I own three of the La Nuits of which this one has the lowest rating, 7.6. Compared to the other two this is way more withdrawn and mild, which could be the reason. The La Nuits have got quite a reputation for being dark, seductive and berry sweet. But in this the berries are subtle. The quality of this is the powdery feeling which is backed up by the sweet vanilla. But do not expect the La Nuit DNA in this one. It would be like going to a stadium concert with Metallica and ending up in a pub listening to the local Irish folk band.
On my skin this lasts between 3-5 hours. I consider this a moderate performance but it is still worth wearing. Just carry a purse spray with you. Sillage is well behaved so you can wear it for work.
The bottle is white with a baby pink shade on the edges and the ribbon rose around the neck is white. Quite delicate.
I like this one. Go try it - but hesitate to buy it blindly.

Nice and delicate musk
Hmmm...When I first tested Tresor Musc Diamant, the scent of violet and raspberry from the top notes lingered for quite a long time on my skin. It reminded me of my favorite vape juice "Mora Violetta". And I loved it...combined with musk, it felt really cozy and unique. The second time though all that I could smell, after hours of having tested it, was a faint vanilla-musk-patchouli scent. Ιt really is a nice, soft perfume, but with so many musky perfumes out there to choose from, I won't bother buying it.

Very delicate scent
If pureness femeninity and innocence was a fragance it would be this one. So delicate! I would not recommend to women with strong character because this is a pretty soft fragance. The opening its pretty sharp but it softens A LOT .

The dry down gave me imediately the image of a bride in her wedding dress with her flower bouquet.

almost fell over
Today, I set off with my husband to Kstadt because I wanted to call Eli Saab Resort my own.

It is a limited edition, and there was only one bottle left on the table.
Even my husband noticed that.

But despite sharpening our pupils - the desired bottle seemed to be lost.

My face grew longer and longer, and I claimed: It doesn't matter.

However, my husband stalked a saleswoman and didn't let her go until she had dug up the sought-after Resort from some corner.

Proudly, he held the find under my nose - and turned to leave.

But then I discovered Musc Diamant a few tables away.
Just taking a look.
The first Tresor was a gift from my dear mom, which I initially regarded with skepticism because I didn't quite share her taste in fragrances as a teenager.
Arpege, No 5, Soir de Paris, Byblos didn't appeal to me back then - although they suited her well.
But for me, they weren't the hit at that time.

Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised by the dear to lovely character of Tresor.

In the meantime, I also host many flankers - and I wouldn't want to miss any of them.
And Musc Diamant is also a treasure.

A sweet web surrounds me - fine like cotton candy - but without being sticky.
A white musk cloud floats in, and one wants to take off.
The soft cloud drifts over fields of flowers and almond trees, accompanied by a hint of vanilla.

Despite the delicious ingredients, Musc remains feather-light and cloudily transparent.

I am actually not one to waver - but I find myself teetering.
Resort or Tresor?
My husband scores points with logic.
The Saab is limited - and Musc will probably be available for a longer time.

Well combined, Watson - I praise him - and postpone the treasure for later.

A Screaming Diamond?
He he, hello and welcome to a new comment from me. And although this is a comment on the La Nuit fragrance line from Lancôme, this time the screaming perfume you surely know has nothing to do with it :D
She recently just said that she would scream in my ears if I didn’t try the EDT of these fragrances at some point, but I chose to test this Musc Diamant all by myself. After all, I’m currently on this fragrance line and secondly, it’s also a relatively new scent.

Testing this time was much easier, as I went to the city quite early, where most people were still at school, university, or work, so I could test the scent a bit more calmly. Of course, there were still some ladies present with the fragrances, but they were more busy looking for Christmas gifts rather than paying attention to me. However, I paid a lot more attention to them… what I noticed is: Are leather pants back in fashion? Many are currently walking around in these tight and somewhat shiny pants, and I must say that these pants are even very… um… butt-enhancing. Argh… yes, I’m sorry, but that’s how it is. While testing the fragrance, it happened again. I’m sniffing my arm and looking at my phone to read the fragrance notes here on Parfumo. But with one eye, I’m automatically glancing at a lady wearing one of those tight pants and I’m just thinking “Wow”!! And then this lady wants to look at the cosmetic products on the bottom shelf. But instead of kneeling down, which is always healthier, as doctors always say,… she BENDS down and it looks like the pants are about to burst!!! Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!!! That sight… those are the kinds of things a man doesn’t forget quickly and therefore gets easily distracted. I’m lucky I didn’t drop the bottle from my hands!!

While I’m still analyzing the fragrance, a little later another lady comes by in tight leather pants (this time in red),… but she does it right this time: She kneels down to look at the lower fragrances. And do you know what? It really doesn’t matter whether one (or actually, one should say woman) bends down in leather pants or kneels down, the curves are emphasized either way, and I… seem to be drifting further away… argh, I actually wanted to describe the fragrance here!!
I better get to the fragrance before I’m finally thought of as perverted, if that hasn’t already happened… argh,… *sigh*

The Fragrance:
The fragrance starts with the listed raspberry note and a lot of musk. Regarding the fruity part, that is, the raspberry, I must say that sometimes it even comes across to me like a cherry. It fluctuates between these two fruits, but it might just be me. The musk, on the other hand, is noticeable throughout and is the main fragrance note from beginning to end. The indicated violets are rather weak and probably contribute to the slightly powdery aura of the fragrance. I smell even less of the roses. The middle part is basically just like the top note, only that the fruity notes become significantly weaker, so that the musk stands out even more.
In the base, a little vanilla joins the musk, making the fragrance even softer and more powdery, and it also lasts longer. Overall, you mostly smell musk and later the vanilla-powdery sweetness, making the fragrance consistently beautifully distinctive.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage has been toned down compared to some other La Nuit fragrances and is therefore not immediately filling the room. The fragrance is still good to smell, but not over longer distances and thus not really comparable to other La Nuit fragrances that usually create huge scent clouds. The longevity also seems to be a little less, but is generally very long-lasting, so it can still be smelled on the skin after ten to twelve hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle has the well-known gemstone-diamond shape, so the shape fits very well with the nickname “Diamond.” The bottle is white-milky this time, with the top shimmering reddish depending on the light. As always, there is also a (now also white) silk ribbon around the neck with the name of the fragrance on it. A beautiful bottle as always.

So… wow, the ladies in those tight leather pants were quite a sight,… uh… wait… actually, I didn’t want to bring that topic up again since I described it quite detailed at the beginning… but… why don’t you perfumes come to a Parfumo meeting dressed like that? No matter if a young “thing” in her twenties or… uh, a woman in her prime (uuuh, I hope that can be said!), such pants would look great on everyone :D

But okay, back to the fragrance. Despite my fixation on behinds, this fragrance fortunately didn’t turn out to be a total flop. On the contrary, it’s actually quite nice. However, I must say that compared to the other La Nuit fragrances, it comes across as significantly less bombastic and sexy. One reason for this is that it has a lower sillage and generally seems a bit more harmless fragrance-wise. Instead, it is more elegant and, like all La Nuits, quite seductive. Furthermore, the fragrance feels less heavy, so it could not only be worn in autumn but also well in spring. By the way, this fragrance can also be used well for going out, although it is also suitable for daytime wear.

So, you don’t necessarily have to have it unless you collect the La Nuit fragrances (like a certain screamer among you ladies here :D)
You can definitely try it, especially if you find the other La Nuits a bit too sweet or if you’re into musk.

Well then, that’s it again. I wish you all a nice evening, until next time :)

Beautiful raspberry, vanilla, musk dream. Almond and sandalwood subtly in the background. Creamy pink cotton candy scent. I really like it!

Powdery veil and delicate violet-rose notes. Subtle, close to the skin? Wrong! Fine scent clouds keep catching you off guard.

Raspberry on a musk cloud, a pleasant everyday scent.
I find it very soft and gentle, like a light cream on the skin.

Way too sweet and not enough musk for my taste. And so girly fruity. Why do I still want to smell like this!?

An intimate powdery dream of Tresor.
Unfortunately, it becomes very close to the skin quickly and the longevity could be better.
Still: a beautiful version!

From the start, great musk. Not animalic. With the other notes, it's a pretty sweet, floral, and slightly powdery, delicate scent.

At first, the musk is prominent, but then it evolves into a creamy, powdery, and only lightly sweet cloud. Quite different from L.N.
