Good La Belle dupe

It really is so similar to La Belle! I only own the Parfum from JPG which is a lot sweeter, darker and more nighttime but didn't want to buy the og because it felt redundant to own both, so this is a great alternative for a daytime sister scent, happy with my purchase :)

Hopefully Zara brings this back, it's also a very good performer. The dry down lasts quite a while on me, more than the average Zara fragrance.

La Belle, summer edition

For weeks, I've been lurking around this fragrance every time I passed by the Zara store in my city. I think their scents can be hit and miss, and Sultry Pear is clearly a hit.

I finally bought it when I was on holidays in Turkey. I brought some lighter perfumes with me, which I could barely detect in the heat after about an hour (a problem I never had before!). So I felt a little jealous when I smelled others' beautiful, strong fragrances in passing. And in a Zara store in Istanbul, I came across Sultry Pear again. It was even a whole 1,50€ cheaper than it is in Germany, so I knew what to do. The remaining days of my holidays, I could finally smell myself.

This is a dupe for JPG La Belle, but it feels a bit fresher and more versatile to me. It doesn't have the hints of Classique DNA I detect in La Belle. Maybe it's just the psychological effect of the lovely blue/green ombré of the bottle, but it feels more summery than the original. I always prefered La Belle Le Parfum over La Belle because it has more depth, but the juicier, summer-appropriate Sultry Pear has its charm, too.
Even though the name sounds a little silly to me, it actually describes the fragrance well. No one could miss the pear note here. It's not the crisp, watery kind, it's more like pear juice or maybe even cooked pears, heavily infused with vanilla, caramelized praline and a slightly spicy, woodsy note that makes it sultry. Just like the vetiver in La Belle.

One of the best Zara scents in my opinion, along with Bohemian Oud and Cherry Smoothie.

Sticky la belle

Somehow, I no longer like this scent profile. By now, I wonder if I wouldn't like the original la belle either, or if the alternatives are just not that great.
It smells sweet. Very, very sweet. Sticky like pear syrup or something.
In my memory, the original smells more like cake or something really gourmand. Not just sugar and pear.
The longevity and sillage of this fragrance are really not good, which I find a bit disappointing. Zara fragrances are already a bit more expensive than drugstore fragrances, but they are usually worse in performance.
I also find the bottle somewhat inappropriate. I would have preferred dark red, purple, black, or brown. Maybe even dark blue. When you see this bottle, you think it's a fruity, zesty, fresh scent.
The weak performance has the advantage that I have to/can spray a lot, and the perfume will run out quickly. Afterwards, I will sniff the original again and buy it if I like it.

Refreshing, fruity, light

As I was strolling through the Zara store yesterday, I came across this scent that I couldn't remember; it must be new. I sprayed it on and honestly didn't expect much.

But lo and behold! I was pleasantly surprised. It smells of fresh, juicy pear, enveloped by a delicate jasmine note, on a bed of vanilla and praline.

The similarity to La Belle is definitely there, although I actually prefer Sultry Pear. LB has a certain depth that doesn't appeal to me personally. The leather and vetiver notes that are missing here make the scent more accessible and enjoyable for me. But that’s something everyone has to decide for themselves. The longevity is about 5-6 hours for me, which I find perfectly fine for the price (€12.99).

I can definitely recommend it :)

Really similar to La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier. Good sillage and duration. For me the 30 ml bottle comes really handy for travelling.

Pear, yes, but not sweet. I don't smell praline or vanilla. The floral notes dominate, but they're not annoying. Later, a slightly soapy scent.
