Love at first sniff

I blind bought pink molecule, and it was a really good blind buy.
To me this is mouthwatering fruity champagne, sparkling elderflower with that creamy, woody background.
Sweet and delicious with good longevity and sillage on my skin and even better on clothes.
Perfect for spring and summer.
It was love at first sniff.

Sample is enough for me

Lots of you pouring tons of words about popular trend - “Pink molecule”, but to me it’s pure synthetic aldehydic, apricot champagne. Yes, its light and fresh. Yes, its full of creamy and powdery elderflowers. It doesn’t go for whole day with longevity as you might wish. It lasts on me for 4 hours - tops. Silage is not that strong. If you look for compliment getter, then look elsewhere. It is beautiful scent with its own character, but I can wait until my trip to Europe to buy whole bottle on my family trip. I can smuggle it few bottles for my friends, because they all rave for popular scent. Lets be honest. It is not on my wish list for Christmas. I satisfied my thirsty curiosity with 3ml sample. Brilliant marketing. Sorry guys, but I can’t wait to see whats comes next in the molecular chemistry.

pretty but unfortunate reformulation

I own a bottle of this from the year it came out. beautiful soft and sparkly, closer to apricot in color than pure pink. Obvious reformulation has happened in the past 10+ years, it is now both bright pink, way soapier and more aldehydic than its ancestor. I smell it often in copenhagen but in my experience is mostly used by women 40+, even though i find tyhe scent profile to lean rather youthful

Spritziger Beerensekt im Flakon

Gerade 18 geworden, kaum Geld auf dem Konto, aber am Wochenende Party machen. Da kam dann gerne der günstige Beerensekt zum Einsatz.
Genau danach riecht für mich Pink Molecule.
Beerig fruchtig (auch, wenn keine Beeren drin sind) süß, ein kleines bisschen frisch und spritzig. Ich kann nicht ganz beschreiben, wie dieses “Spritzige” entsteht, aber es riecht einfach nach Kohlensäure in süßem, alkoholischem Getränk. Tatsächlich wie Sekt oder Rosé.

Mich haut diese spritzige Süße erst mal um. Vielleicht erinnert es mich zu sehr an den besagten Billigsekt, vielleicht aber auch, weil ich persönlich einfach kein Fan von beerigen Parfums bin. (Wo auch immer die Beerennoten herkommen mögen)

Der Duft verändert sich zu meinem Erstaunen kaum bis gar nicht! Die Spritzigkeit geht etwas verloren, verschwindet aber nicht vollkommen. Ich hatte gehofft, dass er etwas runder und weicher wird. Er bleibt aber standhaft. Eigentlich mag ich das bei Parfums. Bei diesem stört tea mich eher, weil er mich schon von Anfang an nicht wirklich zusagt.

Auch die Haltbarkeit stört mich. Weil sie sehr gut ist! Ist wohl die Ironie des Schicksals, dass die Düfte, die man nicht mag, am längsten halten. Ich trage den Erdbeersekt seit Stunden mit mir herum, er steigt mir immer wieder in die Nase. Nicht unangenehm. Aber eben nicht mein Ding.

Objektiv gesehen ist es kein schlechter Duft und auch handwerklich interessant, weil die Duftnoten was ganz anderes erwarten lassen. Ich persönlich möchte jedoch nicht so riechen und für mich riecht er auch wesentlich günstiger als er ist. Die Haltbarkeit rechtfertigt dann allerdings doch irgendwo den Preis.

When I read the title Pink Molecule 090.09, I thought - oh dear, another strictly "scientific" scent that my father-in-law, the PhD chemist, can "work on."

But fortunately, that's not the case.

Very unacademic and pleasantly fruity, the fragrance greets me - the elderflower and apricot go well together.
Pink champagne a la nordique is announced on the cover, and indeed, Molecule has a pleasant, buoyant fizz factor that gives a slight buzz in the nose.
The dark woods create a nice contrast to the pink statement but do not weigh down the cheerful scent.

The promised purism is maintained - but it is delightfully bright, well, pink.
A Zarkoperfume that I like.
