Sharing first place with Ajmal - Amir one for the best cheap oud fragrance i have ever tried

This is very complex. This fragrance has so many layers. Every whiff you catch is different. A bit animalic, than its a bit fruity, then leathery, than balsmic, than ambery. Funny thing is that it is very versatile, i literally think it can be worn any season, even in the warmer weather due to its fruity facet. I would say it is in the same family as Amouage - king blue. But other than that, i do not know with what else on the market i can compare it. Performance is great, i got 8 hours easily with good presence. Not a safe blind buy and definetly not a starting point for oud. In my opinion, this is better than most of westernized oud fragrances

The joy of Oud

The joy of Oud, a material that takes time to understand and on its own, a world to explore.

If you want to find a good yet serious starting point discovering what, at least a very small part of real Oud smells like, this Khadlaj Mystical Indian is to me, the best natural smelling oud you can find for this price point, of course I have no idea if there’s natural oud in it, considering the price point, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did use natural oud. Nonetheless the representation of indian oud here is just mind blowing, yet the harder more animalic qualities of this oud are beautifully balanced, not only making it more wearable and even elegant.
Every facet I love about oud is here, its balsamic nature, slightly leathery / castoreum feel, like an oily like texture in the background, a spicy woody quality and if you know you know, the light cheesy feel (but very light here), this even beats Ajmal in the price quality ratio, in my opinion of course.
After around 30min. the more “challenging” parts take the background and the beautiful resinous quality of the Oud comes forward.
I don’t know how Khadlaj managed to create this, I only know my respect for this brand grew immensely, and I have no problem saying, this is the best Oud you can get for 50€, yes… I got this for only slightly more than 50€, even for 200€ or more you won’t find a better Oud than this, I mean from more popular western niche brands. This is of course, my personal opinion and not a fact.

Quality Natural Oud

Took the gamble and blind bought it.
Not happy with it but also not disappointed.
It is a natural oud scent that is of high quality.
It is quite similar to Al Haramain Obsessive Oudh that i also have.
Not wearable for most people who will find it skanky/barnyard.
Will update if the smell changes after some months.
Performance is amazing, did 2 sprays behind the ears early afternoon and 12 hours later when i went to bed i still smelled it and even the next day i could smell it.
In short a really high quality natural oud smell with great performance that is recommended only for the lovers of this type of pure Eastern/Indian oud.

Bad Start Doesn't Mean Bad Landing

The beauty in our world of perfume junkies is that we all share a passion. We try many things and form a close circle around the things we find a fascination for.

One of those, the controversial substance called "OUD," is something that some people simply hate while others can't get enough of it... Just under €60 for 60 ml, very well-designed packaging, high-quality bottle, what could possibly go wrong? The opening, if anything, is where it gets strange... Oud Pure Mystical Indian is for me one of the most difficult fragrances to explain. It is so extremely multifaceted; I could only say which direction it definitely does not go. The woody/leathery/smoky character is always present, but somehow it keeps changing with different nuances. You might think I'm crazy, but sometimes it has a fruitier side, and other times it comes across as woodier. In terms of Oud quality, I would definitely say it is on Ajmal's level, if not even above it. Don't be discouraged and dare to try something crazy :))
